Duplicate Title Instructions

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled in Alabama
 
The registered owner of the vehicle must follow these steps:
 
        1. Download and fill out the Alabama Duplicate Title Application.

• Bring the Alabama Duplicate Title Application to the Motor Vehicle Division.

 
               Time frame to get the title: 7-14 Business days
                Cost to obtain: $15
 
 

• Mail in the Alabama Duplicate Title Application to the Motor Vehicle Division.
