Duplicate Title Instructions

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled in Idaho
 
    The registered owner of the vehicle must follow these steps:
 
        1. Download and fill out the Idaho Duplicate Title Application. 

        2. You can do one of the following options:

 

• Bring the application to the Idaho Transportation Department.

                        Time frame to get the title: 3 Weeks
                        Cost to obtain: $28
 

 

 

• Mail the application to the Idaho Transportation Department.

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled outside of Idaho

    The registered owner of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled in.
