Duplicate Title Instructions

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled in Nevada
   
    The registered owner of the vehicle must follow these steps:
       
        1. Fill out the Application for Duplicate Nevada Certificate of Title.

        2. You can do one of the following options:

 

• Bring the application to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

                   Time frame to get the title: 6 Weeks
                   Cost: $20

 

• Mail the application to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was not last titled in Nevada
  
The registered owner of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled in.
