What do I need to do with my plates?
Vehicle owners must remove the license plate(s) from their vehicle whenever the vehicle is sold or transferred. The plates need to be turned into a registration office.  

Is there anything else I need to do?
You may need to notify the DMV that you sold your vehicle in order to complete the transfer process.
