Duplicate Title Instructions

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled in Oregon
 
    The registered owner of the vehicle must follow these steps:
 
        1. Download and fill out the Oregon Duplicate Title Application. 

        2. You can do one of the following options:

 

• Bring the application to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

 
                        Time frame to get the title: 8-10 Weeks
                        Cost to obtain: $77 
 

 

 

• Mail the application to the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled outside of Oregon

    The registered owner of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled in.
