Duplicate Title Instructions

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled in Pennsylvania
 
The registered owner of the vehicle must follow these steps:
 
     1. Download and fill out the Pennsylvania Duplicate Title Application. 

        2. You can do one of the following options: 

 

• Bring the application to the Department of Transportation.

                        Time frame to get the title: 4-6 weeks
                        Cost to obtain: $22.50
 
 

• Mail the application to the Department of Transportation.

                           Time frame to get the title: 4-6 weeks
                           Cost to obtain: $22.50  

Getting a duplicate title when the vehicle was last titled outside of Pennsylvania

The registered owner of the vehicle must apply for a duplicate title through the state in which the vehicle was last titled in.
